The Department of Energy's Office of Industrial Technologies (DOE/OIT) has awarded a $80,000 grant to EMTEC, Dayton, OH, for implementation of a program into the Midwest U.S. metal casting industry. The grant will help foundries incorporate new technology, improve energy efficiency, incorporate increased productivity, gain access to federal funding opportunities, and implement energy efficient technology and best practices.
