The North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) released a new interactive CD-ROM course that identifies potentially hazardous situations in the die casting workplace and safe practice recommendations. The seven modules include management responsibility, hazard communication, personal protective equipment, control of hazardous energy, die casting machine guarding, metal melting and handling safety, and safety in die casting operations. The minimum running length of the entire course is six hours, and it includes a 100-p book.
