GeoCorp Expands Thermocouple Manufacturing Capacity
GeoCorp Inc. (Huron, Ohio; http://www.geocorpinc.com), a leader in thermocouple technology, expanded its production capacity to manufacture inert gas-backfilled, vacuum sealed themocouples. According to the company, inert gas backfilling and vacuum sealing increases thermocouple service life and maintains accuracy longer, reducing costs for users and reducing downtime associated with changing thermocouples. Sheaths used for backfilled thermocouples are available in various materials, including Inconel, molybdenum and tantalum. Type R, S, and C thermocouples are available in lengths up to 48 in.
