The QualyTest(tm) Component (QTC) helium leak detector is a modular detector to be integrated into automated assembly and test systems. It is equipped with a turbo-drag pump packaged in a housing that doesn't use a valve block. It provides leak rate measurements from 5 x 10(-11) std-cc/sec up to 0.2 std-cc/sec and a maximum test pressure of 15 torr. The detector can be controlled via standard fieldbus protocols (Profibus, DeviceNet), RS-232, RS-485 and digital I/O. The detector also incorporates various analog voltage outputs that correspond to leak rate. Options include built-in calibrated leak, automated backing pump gas ballast control and automated sniffer control.
