Seco/Warwick Corp., Meadville, Pa., released V-404.2, the second revision to its high-pressure quench brochure that discusses product improvements and enhancements to the design since the initial introduction of the product in 1995. The company introduced the trade name Universal HPQ(tm) to describe the ability of a single unit to perform a variety of processes within a single furnace. The same unit can be upgraded to add a vacuum carburizing cycle. The brochure includes curves to describe both cooling and convection heating cycles within the furnace.
