P&L Heat Treating & Grinding Inc., Youngstown, Ohio, expanded its vacuum heat-treating capabilities with the purchase of a 12-bar Universal HPQ(tm) furnace with low-pressure carburizing from Seco/Warwick Corp., Meadville, Pa. P&L purchased the furnace to provide vacuum carburizing along with commercial vacuum heat treatment services. The unit will be an addition to its existing 10-bar HPQ from Seco/Warwick.
