The Yanta/Lubao Nonferrous Alloy Plant in Yantai/Shandong Province, a company of BAOSTEEL, has commissioned a vacuum induction melting and casting furnace from ALD Vacuum Technologies AG, Hanau, Germany. The furnace has a capacity for three tons of copper alloys. Auxiliary equipment, such as bulk charger and casting chamber, was fabricated in China by BAOSTEEL Equipment and Engineering Corp. in close cooperation with and according to basic designs of ALD.
