Macclesfield-based Bodycote (http://www.bodycote.com) aims to buy two new European plants as part of its global expansion plans. According to chief executive John Hubbard, the company plans mainly to add small bolt-on firms to its materials testing division. The firm also hopes to rapidly expand its materials testing division to about 40 percent of group sales from 15 percent within five years.
