VAT Series 26.4 vacuum angle valves are machined from aluminum extrusion with KF flanges in sizes DN16, 25 and 40 and offer a wide internal, conical side port profile to provide the highest possible conductance to achieve reduced pump downtime. It uses an AISI type 316L stainless steel bellows and 316L internal sealing plate with a specially designed round section groove for the O-ring seal, offering leak tightness, minimal particulate generation and three million cycles until first service under clean conditions. The current version uses a normally closed (NC) pneumatic actuator to offer a fail-closed solution, with manually actuated and normally open (NO) versions to be released in the future.
