Bricmont Inc. (Canonsburg, Pa.) will supply the engineering, electrical materials and software for a 150 tph top and bottom-fired walking beam furnace for SeAH BESTEEL in Gunsan, South Korea. The furnace has side charging and side discharging and will be used to heat a 200 mm by 200 mm by 11.5 m cold charged carbon and bearing steel billets. The furnace system will also include billet tracking, measurement and identification. The furnace is scheduled for start-up in May 2006. This is Bricmont's second walking beam furnace project from SeAH BESTEEL in the past three months.
