CIC Pittsburgh LLC received a contract from an eastern U.S. producer of high alloys for two Steckel Mill furnaces. The furnaces will have low NOx high-velocity burners.

CIC Pittsburgh LLC (Pittsburgh, Pa.; http://www.cicpgh.com) received a contract from an eastern U.S. producer of high alloys for two Steckel Mill furnaces. The furnaces will have low NOx high-velocity burners. CIC also received a contract to provide engineering services, combustion components, controls and complete refractory line for a kiln rebuild in western New York. The contract calls for an existing shuttle kiln to be cut in half and turned into two car bottom kilns. In addition, CIC will engineer and provide combustion and controls for two ladle heaters for a central Mexico carbon steel producer. One heater will heat the ladles in a horizontal plane, while the other will be a vertical unit.
