The KS 407 stepping controller calculates motor actuator-stroke time into a PID algorithm to ensure a tight set point on a motor-actuated control valve for gas burners, dampers, and other temperature control applications. It includes a choice of input measurement value correction (gradient or parallel) to correct any input signal errors. The unit has standard dual relay outputs for control, single relay for alarm, and universal inputs having input circuit monitoring for input fault detection. A choice of alarms include relative, absolute, and relative with alarm suppression, which function at startup or at set point change.
