The retooled Abrapol-10 grinding and polishing machine performs quality control testing on large numbers of specimens and extra large or irregular-sized specimens. The unit's specimen mover has two different rotation speeds, 150 rpm (traditional) and 300 rpm. The 300-rpm high-speed head, together with a larger 14 in. (350 mm) disc format, cuts specimen processing time in half. The unit also supports a standard 12 in. (300 mm) disc size.
