FAwer Automobile Parts Corp. Ltd., formerly known as FAW-China First Automobile Group, purchased its second convection preheat-radiation controlled atmosphere braze (CAB) furnace line to braze aluminum charge air coolers and heat exchangers of various sizes in its Changchun, China facility. The system, manufactured by Seco/Warwick Corp., Meadville, Pa., features a 2-zone convection preheat chamber with a 3-zone radiation braze chamber and will use bayonet heating elements for heat input. The ACCUBRAZE(r) control system and an inline dry-off oven have been incorporated into the system. A dual concentration continuous wet spray fluxer will be set inline with the system, and a manual drip fluxer also has been provided.
