The Induction Bonding Systems portion of Robotron Corp., Southfield, Mich., has been acquired by the EFD Group. The newly formed company has been named EFD Induction Southfield, Inc. EFD will build on the acquired business' accelerated structural adhesives curing technology, which embraces a wide range of composite materials, plastics and metal to metal bonding applications across the international markets of automotive, domestic appliances, sports equipment and office furniture. Tom Crocker, the President of EFD Induction, Inc. in Troy, Michigan also now becomes President of EFD Induction Southfield, Inc.
