BOC (Murray Hill, N.J.;, a gas, vacuum technology and distribution services company, will build an on-site generator to meet steel manufacturer TAGAL's increased demand for nitrogen (N2) at its USD 180 million steel manufacturing facility in China's Dalian economic and technical development zone. TAGAL is a joint venture between German steel-maker Thyssen-Krupp Stahl AG and China's Angang New Steel Co. Ltd. The company's main business is production and sales of high-surface quality hot-dip galvanized steel for the automotive and home appliance industries. As part of the agreement, BOC will build an on-site generator to supply TAGAL with an additional 500 cubic meters per hour (m3/hr) N2.
