February 19, 2006
Blasch Precision Ceramics
A new line of ceramic foam filters is available for filtering impurities from liquid metals. The Cleen-Flo filters are available in three materials: alumina (for use with aluminum and aluminum alloys), zirconia (for use with stainless steels and nickel alloys) and silicon carbide (for use with grey iron, ductile iron, precious metals, copper, bronze, brass and investment casting). All materials are available in square, round and custom geometric shapes in sizes ranging from 100 to 600 mm and thicknesses from 10-50 mm. Pore densities from 8-60 pores per inch are available. Filters can be ordered with or without a ceramic felt gasket or ceramic glaze around the perimeter.www.blaschceramics.comInfo # 265
