This burner is rated for 700,000 Btu for continuous operation in most direct-fired applications. The optional boost mode provides 1.4 MMBtu for intermittent operation, e.g., rapid heat-up of cold parts. Regenerators, switching valves, gas and air supply trains as well as burner controls are preassembled into a compact unit. Each burner fires and recovers heat from waste gases at the same time, so it is not necessary to install burner pairs.
