Yokogawa Electric Corp. Selected by Chevron for Process Control and Instrumentation

Yokogawa Electric Corp. has entered into an agreement with Chevron U.S.A. Inc. to be its global supplier of process control and instrumentation (PCI) for plant automation and field instrumentation. The three-year agreement applies to all Chevron affiliates with greater than 50 percent ownership. Products covered under the agreement include plant automation systems including °'ExaÓ series productivity solution software, CENTUM CS1000/3000 integrated control system hardware/software and field instruments, including EJA pressure transmitters, YTA temperature transmitters, YEWFLO vortex flow meters and EXA analyzers. A steering committee comprising both Yokogawa and Chevron representatives will be established to ensure optimum facilitation and benefits for both companies.
