CHTE Announces New Board Members for 2002
The Center of Heat Treating Excellence (CHTE), Worcester, Mass., selected the following 2002 board members: Mark Wells, Air Products & Chemicals Inc.; Dan Paulonis, Pratt & Whitney; Bill Bernard, Surface Combustion Inc.; Rodney Klundt, The Timken Co.; Ken Otto, Bodycote Thermal Processing; Ric Woldow, Caterpillar Inc.; Chet Grant, General Motors; and Chris Morawski, Nitrex. The CHTE board is responsible for overseeing the activities of the center, as well as documenting the research agenda. During the initial two years of CHTE, all founding members (24 companies) served as the board members. The current eight-member board staff will follow a rotation schedule to ensure equal member representation.
