Alfe Heat Treating Inc., Fort Wayne, Ind., plans to construct a 15,000 square foot heat-treating facility in Massena, N.Y. It is scheduled to begin operation in the second half of 2002. Alfe is building the plant as part of a contract they were awarded by General Motors. The plant will specialize in aluminum heat treating and will feature automated batch processing.
