The radiant tube, recuperator, and combustor of the SERamic radiant tube burners are made of high heat-resistant silicon carbide ceramic. Flame exits from the combustor at high velocity, entraining large volumes of exhaust gas and promoting recirculation through the inner tube. This results in reduced NOx emissions and improved temperature uniformity of the outer radiant tube. The burner's internal recuperator provides maximum efficiency and fuel savings. The burners are available in three sizes, ranging from 100,000 Btu/hr (29 kW) to 400,000 Btu/hr (117 kW) and can be fired in vertical or horizontal configurations.
