The new line of hardness testers can be handheld or mounted on a test stand and are available in Shore A and Shore D models, complying with ASTM D 2240, ISO 868, ISO 7619 and most DIN and JIS specifications. The units are available having either digital display with SPC output or analog. Digital models feature a large display screen and longer battery life together with a data-hold button. Analog testers feature an extra hand on the dial that retains the peak hardness value. Both types can be configured as a long-leg version for reaching into grooves and holes or to keep hands safely away from hot parts being inspected.
