On January 1, 2002, Dave Rinz will retire as director of sales for Vacuum Furnace Systems (VFS), Souderton, Pa. Since joining the company in 1987 as a west coast regional sales manager, Mr. Rinz has had increasing responsibilities. In 1988, Rinz was promoted to vice president of sales. In 1995, he became a part-owner as a member of the management team that purchased the company from Bill Jones. Rinz will be succeeded by Dave Rohrbaugh, previously vice president of sales with Drever Company, Huntingdon Valley, Pa. Rohrbaugh assumed the role of general sales manager on October 29, 2001, and will take over as vice president of sales in January 2002.
