Heating and Cooling Software

The Heatcool Software Program computes transcient heating or cooling time of any load configuration in a chamber equipped with or without fan circulation. Thirteen gases (from air to steam) are programmed. Chamber pressure can be above or below atmosphere. Cooling can also be done in a liquid (quenching in water, brine, caustic or synthetic) with agitation to enhance heat transfer. Twenty-two common metals (from aluminum to zirconium) are programmed, and other metals and non-metals can be entered. Final temperatures are computed at the center and surfaces for slabs, cylinders and spheres. For rectangular shapes, temperatures are computed at the center, each face, center of the long edge and extreme corner. Head temperatures above the final set point temperature can also be entered to reduce heating time. The system requires Windows® operating system, USB ported printer and 256 kb ram.http://users.zoominternet.net/~jdbarnesInfo # 261
