Cam followers having a self-lubricating GraphalloyR bushing are alternatives to grease-lubricated cam followers at temperatures to 750F (400C), in hostile environments and in submerged applications. Graphalloy, a graphite/metal alloy, contains no oil or grease to harden, burn up or wash away and can handle moderate loads and speeds. Graphalloy will not soften or extrude at high temperatures and under load. Applications include ovens and furnace doors, control arms and oven-tray supports.
