The RTD temperature sensor is designed to monitor air and various gas temperatures. A specially machined tip designed to maximize airflow over a miniature platinum film element provides rapid response to incremental changes in application temperature. Platinum sensors meet DIN 43760, IEC 751, (class A and B) and JIS 3920 specifications. Lead wire materials typically are TeflonR or fiberglass insulated for use at higher temperature ranges. These designs can be manufactured in 2-, 3- and 4-wire configurations. Termination and mounting options are available.
