The Haverhill Technology Group (HTG) Inc., Haverhill, Mass., completed the acquisition of HK Equipment Inc. (HKE) and Elatec Technology Corp. (ETC). The two corporations will become operating divisions of HTG, operating from a 70,000 square foot facility. Elatec Technology, a manufacturer of vacuum product lines for heat treating, melting, coating, debinding, sintering and hot pressing, will continue to offer field service, spare parts, hot zone rebuilds, control center upgrades, hydrogen binder burn-off additions and its plasma ion nitriding accessory module. It will retain the company logo, e-mail and web address. HK Equipment, which specializes in vacuum and thermal equipment, also will retain its current inventory as well as its logo, e-mail and web site.
