Centorr Adds Furnace to Applied Technology Center
Centorr Vacuum Industries, Nashua, N.H., constructed a high-temperature furnace for its Applied Technology Center. Centorr performed modifications to its existing graphite-lined System VII laboratory/production furnace to upgrade its performance to 2800 C in vacuum, partial pressures of inert gas and positive pressure inert gas. The unit also is capable of ramp rates up to 100 C/minute, offering the ability to simulate continuous furnace cycles.
