The 16 in. MV Multi-trap(r) three-stage vacuum pump inlet trap is suitable for applications such as heat treating, crystal growing, CVD processes and chemical drying. It has up to 99.99% efficiency, depending upon the filter media selected, and provides 2500 cfm conductance at 0.1 torr to handle high-throughput processes. It is constructed of AISI Type 304 stainless steel with a 450 in.2 knockdown stage for condensing out materials and two separate filtration stages. Capable of removing particles, water vapor, acids and organic vapors, the trap has ISO-160 ports and holds 16 filter elements (8 per stage) that can be selected by the user. Filters offered include stainless steel gauze, copper gauze, molecular sieve, activated alimina, activated charcoal, Sodasorb(r) and pleated polypropylene.
