Grade FW-3301 is a water-base, forging lubricant, which contains micro-fine graphite and special EP additives. It is designed for use in forging difficult, warm or hot ferrous, nonferrous and superalloy metals. It also is suitable as a back extrusion lubricant. The lubricant can be used on dies at temperatures from 250 to 1000F (120 to 540C) and dilutes easily with water. The dilution ratio depends on the severity of the job, but usually is five parts water to one part concentrate or greater.
