Bohai Aluminum Installs Altek Press

In a joint venture with Alcoa, Bohai Aluminum has installed a Model 701-S press from Altek International, Exton, Pa. The press is planned to stop thermiting dross, eliminate dust and fume generation, and improve the casthouse environment. The press achieves high in-house and overall metal recovery with patented, ribbed head design while containing fumes and dust.
