The IHScanner vertical scanning system with solid-state power supply is complete with part quenching and recirculating components. It is a dual spindle heat-treating system with 17 in. (430 mm) vertical travel, part rotation and multifunction microprocessor-based PMC. A wide range of power ratings and frequencies are available ranging from 25 to 100 kW and from 25 to 200 kHz. The system is suitable for heat treating cylindrical parts from 0.38 to 1.00 in. (10 to 25 mm) diameter and up to 17 in. long (15 in., or 380 mm, heat treat length). A single, dual position, quick-change inductor coil simultaneously disconnects power and cooling circuits. Quench supply also has quick disconnect couplings. Cooling requirements vary from 10 to 30 gpm (0.6 to 2 liter/s) depending on the kilowatt rating selected. The system requires a 3-phase, 480 volt input power and cooling water supply.
