Welduction Ships Induction Hardener for Bolts

Welduction Corp., Novi, Mich., has shipped two Autobolt automated induction hardening systems for bolts to a major bolt manufacturer. The systems can process part lengths as small as 14 mm (0.55 in.) and diameters from 6 mm to 12 mm at the rate of two to six parts per second. An optional smart automation module (SAMR) is featured to convey parts through the hardening process, as well as rotation and part length detection devices. Also included is a 90 kW RF induction power supply, electrical controls and cooling system.
