John Wiley and Sons released the 4th edition of Handbook of Environmental Data on Organic Chemicals, edited by Karel Verschueren. It has been updated to reflect collected data on the presence and fate of new and existing organic chemicals, mixtures and preparations. In addition to highlighting the control measures that reduce the destructive impact of chemicals on the ecosystem, the handbook also includes extensive details on each chemical, such as physical appearance, conversion factors, biodegradation processes, natural and manmade sources of pollution, and residual concentration.
