The Timken Company has opened a bearing reconditioning facility in Mexico City as part of its Timken de Mexico operations. The new bearing service unit will remanufacture railroad bearings used in locomotives and freight cars. The company has served the railroad industry for more than 70 years. In 1955, they acquired Rail Bearing Service Corp., a remanufacturer of railway bearing, as a subsidiary.
