The Y70S series of Nd:YAG lasers are based on the platform of Q-switched solid state lasers, but use a longer cavity to produce a stretch pulse width and lower peak power. Output is optimized for use in high-precision materials processing applications such as resistor trimming, marking of semiconductor devices and wafers, diamond processing, and thin-film scribing. The lasers deliver more than 6.5 W at 1064 nm at repetition rates of up to 100 kHz. Laser output also features good transverse mode quality (M2<1.2), together with high spatial model stability and increased pulse-to-pulse stability.
