BOC Edwards & Castion Recognized for Environmental Excellence
The Executive Office of Environmental Affairs (EOEA) and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) recognized two Bay State companies - BOC Edwards of Wilmington and CASTion Corp. of Ludlow - for their commitment to environmental stewardship through their use of innovative environmental technology. In their quest to improve positive environmental impacts, BOC Edwards voluntarily adopted a new zero-discharge wastewater recovery system. CASTion developed the system with support from the Massachusetts' Strategic Environmental Technology Partnership (STEP). Through the STEP program, partnerships within the business community foster a business and regulatory climate in which revolutionary environmental technologies are encouraged and allowed to thrive.
