PHM Filtration Inc., the parent company of PATT Filtration, is restructuring. At the end of September 2002, the company will begin operations under a new name, PATT Technologies Inc., and will have two separate divisions, PATT Filtration and PATT Ionics. The PATT Filtration division has been in operation for over 15 years and will continue operations under the new corporate structure. PATT Ionics is a new division that is being formed to address the company's growth as a commercial metal surface treater of critical metal components for improved wear resistance, hardness, toughness and corrosion resistance. Both divisions will be headquartered, along with parent company PATT Technologies Inc., in Montreal at the company's present executive offices and manufacturing facilities.
