The Advanced Powder Technology (APT) process produces completely alloyed powders that provide uniform melting and high deposition efficiencies. Fine carbide structure and spherical morphology contribute to more consistent coatings. APT coatings can be produced using HVOF, plasma or flame spray technologies, resulting in dense and homogeneous coatings with high wear and corrosion resistant properties. The APT product line consists of a variety of chromium carbide (C-APT) and tungsten carbide (T-APT) chemistries, each displaying unique structural, wear and corrosion resistant characteristics.
