The MZ16 high-performance stereomicroscope allows imaging of three-dimensional (3D) structures as small as 600 nm, as well as apochromatic correction for accurate color reproduction. Depth of field can be adjusted using the built-in iris diaphragm for demanding specimens having minute height variations. With a revolving nosepiece, the unit quickly scans specimens from 7.1x up to 230x magnification with a maximum resolution of 840 line pairs/mm. Rapid magnification changes using the objective revolver reduce time spent on tasks such as sorting, characterization, and analyzing.
