Zircar Refractory Composites

Refractory sheet type RS-100 is a fiber reinforced structural alumina composite designed for use in thermal, structural and electrical insulation applications, as well as in the transport of molten nonferrous metals at temperatures to 2300F (1260C). The material has compressive and flexural strengths in the range of high temperature reinforced plastics, such as G-10 laminates, but retains its strength and use to levels exceeding the maximum use temperatures of plastics.
