The American Foundry Society (AFS) 5-D Committee has sponsored the authorship and publication of Abrasion-Resistant Cast Iron Handbook, co-authored by Richard Gundlach, George Laird, and Klaus Rohrig. The handbook provides a look at the metallurgy, processing steps and structure/property relationships of abrasion-resistant cast irons in regard to optimizing their performance.
