The GS1714 bench-top box furnace is rated for 2350F (1290C) and is 17 in. wide x 12 in. high x 14 in. deep (430 x 305 x 355 mm). It features elements evenly spaced on the sides, top and bottom, held in place by hard ceramic channels, which protect the firebrick, make element replacement easy and prevent dusting in the furnace. In addition, the hardening coating used on the furnace refractory helps reflect heat back into the chamber. Temperature uniformity using a nine-point survey is +/-7.5F (+/-4C) due to the element arrangement.
