Space-Saver dual-chamber furnaces feature low-mass, energy-efficient ceramic fiber insulation. By using lightweight, low-mass ceramic insulation instead of traditional block, the furnaces save operating costs by requiring less electrical power. The units also use low-mass, coil-wound heating elements mounted on ceramic rods. The result is rapid heating and cool down, more heat cycles in a workday and greater productivity. The upper hardening chamber is rated up to 2200F (1205C) and the lower draw chamber up to 1600F (870C). Each chamber is individually operated using separate digital controls, thermocouple and contactor. The lower chamber also is equipped with a fan assembly and stainless steel liner for recirculation and uniform temperature.
