W.P. Keith Co., Inc., Pico Rivera, Calif., acquired KMI Industries, Lynwood, Calif., and will continue the operation of KMI's refractory distribution, custom insulation systems and Recco furnace business units. Recco Furnaces will be integrated into the product lines sold and supported by Keith Co. KMI Refractories will operate as a separate division focused on refractory distribution, refractory service and custom fiber insulation systems. The Keith Co. and Recco Furnace operations will be combined at Keith headquarters in Pico Rivera. KMI Refractories currently is operating at the same location as the former KMI Industries in Lynwood, Calif.
