The U.S. Dept. of Energy-Office of Industrial Technologies released The Gateway to Metal Casting Resources CD-ROM, which provides easy access to information on Metal Casting Industry of the Future research, energy saving and other technical assistance available from OIT. The CD-ROM provides abstracts of metal casting IOF projects along with links to both fact sheets and technical reports of these projects. Projects are categorized by alloy, casting method and stage of the casting process. The CD-ROM also provides links to the societies and other resources available from DOE.
