The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) has opened the 2003 International P/M Design Competition. Entries in each category (ferrous, nonferrous, stainless steel, injection molded, advanced particulate materials, innovative functional assembly and overseas) are eligible for a grand prize and two awards of distinction. P/M parts manufacturers from North America and overseas who are MPIF members and their customers may submit entries. Judging guidelines are based on design configuration, engineering properties and promotional value to the P/M industry.
