American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) Holdings Inc., Detroit, Mich., has been selected as the supplier of rear axle shafts for a future model year Chrysler Group vehicle. The axle shafts will be upset, extruded, milled and centered at AAM's Detroit Forge facility. It is the first forging contract AAM received from the Chrysler Group.
