Fluxtrol To Offer New Magnetic Flux Concentrating Materials In 2003
November 26, 2002
In 2003, Fluxtrol Manufacturing, Inc., Auburn Hills, Mich., will improve and reorganize its family of Fluxtrol magnetic flux concentrators for induction heating applications. The temperature resistance for the new Fluxtrol family will be increased to that of Fluxtrol's Ferrotron(r) family of materials (up to 250 C). The new concentrator line includes materials engineered to support systems operating at all frequency ranges used in induction (50 Hz - 5 MHZ). In the future, the company will offer custom-designed materials from its newly created Specialty Product Line, for especially demanding applications requiring higher permeability (up to 400), special net shapes and even higher temperature resistance.
